Family and friends are warmly invited to the celebration of life for Coen at ‘Sharks at Kareela’. Please wear your favourite blue! Help us celebrate Coen by wearing something blue in honour of his favourite team, the Sharkies. A private burial will take place following the service. We warmly invite family and friends to remain at ‘Sharks at Kareela’ to continue celebrating Coen’s life, remembering his beautiful spirit and sharing cherished memories.
Due to the expected number of guests attending Coen’s farewell, parking will be limited. Where possible, we kindly encourage carpooling or the use of alternative transport.

Coen was deeply loved and left an impact on so many. His bravey, his courage, his zest for life and being an inspiration for so many has left a lasting impact in those around him.
At this time of deep sorrow, remember the grief you feel is love that has nowhere else to go. Coen was so dearly loved and cared for by his family. He knew nothing but love and support in his short time on Earth.
As his parents, you did the most amazing job. You faced something noone wants to face and you stood by Coen through it all, so that he knew he was not alone in his battle.

I still remember the first day I met Coen on 2S in bed 11. He was preparing for his first general anaesthetic. Instantly we bonded & he became on of my fav patients to look after. I didn’t see Coen as a inpatient in hospital after I left the ward but I’d always so Coen & Amanda at the local woolies or passing through SCH hallways where we’d have a chat & a current Coen update/progress. My heart breaks for you all & I know on behalf of the nurses at SCH Coen was a star patient, the dream patient everyone wanted. You’ll always be remembered Coen & never forgotten, especially by me. You’ve made me a better nurse because I was lucky to have an amazing patient like you. Rest easy Coen, you don’t have to fight anymore! UP UP Cronulla!
