Borracha
It’s imaginable still.
Why?
How?
Many moons ago I participated in your Newcastle Capoeira classes.
I was one of those students that were on and off with classes. So I wouldn’t have ever progressed in levels hahaha but I came for the fun and fitness.
Here, I met some wonderful humans. Including one of my best friends whom I’m still best friends with.
It was through you, that you brought us together.
You humbly made a community.
You bright Brazil, arts, dance, culture and community from Brazil to Australia.
You made a name for yourself.
And your name and your legacy lives on for many more moons.
We all carry a piece of you within us. A beautiful memory.
We shared the stage in our performances many times, entertaining the audience with our skill and talent, Borracha with his capoeira and I with my samba dance…memorable moments where life really had a meaning. We will miss Borracha, his vibrant energy, talent and smille. God bless always. My sincere condolences to his family in Australia and Brazil. Edgee (Di)
Thanks Borracha. And it was a joy to run into you that last time I saw you.
A ficha ainda não caiu! Vai em paz mestre/amigo.
Seu legado vai continuar.
Meus sentimentos e um grande abraço a Greer e família.
Our life caravan crossed many moons ago and it left a strong imprint in me and my daughter. May you have many heavenly rodas meu amigo! Your teachings are still spreading near and far.
Condoléances les plus sincères à sa famille et proches.
