Step 1 - Funeral Option

This is the beginning step that will get you started on your planning journey.Options available include:

Step 2 - Coffins

When it comes to funeral planning, one of the most important decisions is choosing the right coffin. After all, the coffin is where your loved one will rest for eternity. While there are many options available, it's important to choose a coffin that reflects the personality and style of the deceased.From natural style coffins with a woollen outer layer, to different colour wicker, and more traditional pine coffins, we have a range of coffin options to suit your needs.

Step 3 - Flowers

Many people choose to include flowers in their funeral plans as a way to honour the life of the deceased. While there are no hard and fast rules about what type of flowers to choose, the use of flowers can allow the use of symbolism and add a personal touch to your ceremony.We have a wide range of flower arrangement available including:

The service was exactly what we had hoped for, and the flowers were absolutely incredible. We were honestly blown away by how perfectly you captured everything we had envisioned. It was such a beautiful tribute . From the very first meeting, you made such a difficult journey a little easier. Thank you for coming to our home instead of asking us to come to you. A huge thank you to the team at Personal Farewells, in particular Stephanie - professional, accommodating, caring. Stephanie was clear and articulate about the process from cremation through to memorial service, including providing a range of options. She was intuitive and kept me updated along the way. Of course there are the more well known, multi office funeral directors you can choose. For me, I was exceptionally happy going with a smaller company that was just as experienced but with an individual, personalised approach. My uncle got a farewell that truly reflected him as a person. He would have been happy too.

From the first phone call to Stephanie, I was always looked after, promptly, with compassion and empathy every single time. Nothing was a problem, everything clear and concise and I knew exactly what was happening, what was going to happen and what the cost would be. +5*, Stephanie and team were amazing. Nothing was a problem for Steph, we were cutting it fine time wise after being delay by the coroner, we changed service locations at last minute and she moved mountains and came up with solid alternative and made the day like the best planned event we could have ever hoped for. Everything was last minute, but she took it all in her stride. The most unique funeral I have ever been to that fitted in perfectly to who he was, my son was 26, so she took in his spiritual side as well as his wild side. +400 in attendance, it was huge logistical event, people overflowing everywhere. A day never to be forgotten. Don't hesitate to get Steph to organise your loved one's funeral. Bigger is not always better.

We used Personal Farewells a few years ago for my mother in law and my father in law was so impressed by their service that he said when he went to use the same company. He passed in February this year. We had private cremations for both and Personal Farewells were so friendly, helpful and professional throughout the whole experience. From the moment I spoke to Stephanie over the phone, I knew I had chosen the person to help us organise my best friends funeral. Stan and I met with Stephanie and she talked us through our options, listened to our fears and hopes for the perfect send off. Nothing was out of reach and when we left that first meeting, we knew everything would be perfect. We chose a memorial service for Julie, and we organised this part with Stephanie's colleague, Jessica, over zoom. Jessica also put us at ease, listened and help us put everything together. I have only ever organised my Dads funeral and it wasn't the stress free funeral we had with Stephanie and her team. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Exceptional, Heartfelt Service — Thank You, Stephanie and Team Stephanie and her team at Personal Farewells created the most beautiful and deeply meaningful funeral service and burial for our 9yr old son Harry. Every detail was handled with such care, thoughtfulness, and compassion. The yellow flowers — especially the sunflowers — were vibrant and full of life, and Harry’s superhero bear was such a tender, loving gesture that meant so much. The photos and videos were absolutely gorgeous. Seeing Harry enjoying his favourite foods — pasta and raspberries — making the happiest little mess, brought so much warmth and joy to the room. The process of uploading and Stephanie producing this was seamless. Stephanie’s recommendation of Jess as the celebrant was excellent. We felt so comfortable with them both in the hardest days of our life. Jess and Stephanie meticulously timed the service and made sure we got everything we wanted for our Harry. Stephanie also helped us navigate a Saturday service at a few days notice, she was very helpful in understanding the costs from Woronora Memorial Park. The tribute from Bates Drive School was just as special. It was clear how adored Harry was by his teachers and friends. The stories of his cheeky antics — taking off and throwing his shoes, grabbing hair and sunglasses, and of course, enjoying raspberries — brought smiles through the tears. The story of the rainbow appearing at Bear Cottage was truly unforgettable. It felt like a sign from Harry himself — a comforting reminder that his spirit is close, loving, and forever present. Aunty Sarah’s poem, Look for Me in Rainbows, was the perfect way to end such a meaningful service. The bubbles at the conclusion were a beautiful touch — light, joyful, and full of Harry’s spirit. Thank you, Stephanie and the entire Personal Farewells team, for creating an exceptional, heartfelt tribute. You worked long hours to get every detail perfect for Harry.. Your compassion and care helped create a service that honoured Harry’s life in the most beautiful way. We are deeply grateful.

We are so incredibly grateful to Personal Farewells — and especially to Stephanie — for the care, compassion, and professionalism shown while looking after our father’s funeral. From the very first phone call, Stephanie was comforting and reassuring, gently guiding us through a time that felt overwhelming and emotional. Every detail was handled with such grace and sensitivity, making the entire process feel seamless. Stephanie’s warmth, empathy, and attention to detail helped create a service that was both meaningful and dignified. Stephanie came highly recommended, and from the first phone call, I knew she was the right person to help us arrange my dad’s funeral. We met with her to discuss what we wanted, and she guided us through all the options step by step. From then on, we didn’t have to worry about a thing, she arranged everything seamlessly, with care, warmth, and absolute professionalism. Her advice on how to organise the day so it all flowed smoothly was invaluable. She took all the stress away during an incredibly difficult time. Stephanie has clearly built wonderful partnerships with people she trusts. The celebrant she recommended was perfect, the flowers were beautiful, and the service was everything we had hoped for, Dad would have loved it. On the day itself, Stephanie was calm, unobtrusive, yet always present when needed, and made sure everything went smoothly and as planned. We can't thank Stephanie enough for arranging such a beautiful send-off for Dad, and we would not hesitate to recommend her.

She takes great care and time to make sure every detail and every request is noted and carried out, and genuinely cares about the well being of her clients. From the first text message I sent to Stephanie, her and her team were fully invested in help myself deal with such a devastating time so seamlessly, even with some extravagant request to make Greg's service fitting for him she was able piece it all together making his farewell the most memorable for myself, his boys and our extended family and friends. Thank you to Jessica who also made the service, so personal and memorable that people actually thought she knew Greg personally, your time and understanding of the man he was, was delivered so comforting to all at the service. The livestream through Streamwise Media was flawless and we have had so many comments on how those that weren't able to attend felt like they were right there with us. Stephanine, thank you for being you and I'm so grateful our paths crossed and that I travelled the most difficult time in my life with you and your team by my side. I lost both my parents within 3.5 months Stephanie and her team handle both, she is thoughtful and my mum died suddenly with advanced Cancer this team of people are the most empathetic and loving to deal with I highly recommend using this company. She help arrange everything from videos to those little things you don’t think about when losing ur Mum. Our family was devastated at the sudden loss of our father, and from the the very first conversation we had with Stephanie we knew we had made the right choice with Personal Farewells. Stephanie understood what we wanted for Dad and, just as importantly, what we didn't want. Her kindness, compassion and professionalism in such difficult circumstances was wonderful. The celebrant Jess did a fabulous job of bringing together everything we wanted to say about Dad. Jess did an outstanding job on the day, also with compassion and kindness. I had a few Funeral Homes recommended to me after the passing of my mother and made a few phone calls to discuss options and prices with them. It was clear from that first call with Stephanie that the heartfelt recommendation that Personal Farewells was given was truly due. Her gentle guidance and clarity of every aspect of the process was A1 and her put together of the video/photo tribute was beautiful and commented on by many people. We used Jackie as our celebrant and she worked seamlessly with us and Stephanie to put together a ceremony that showed the joy and love of our mother's life that has truly been appreciated. I would highly recommend both these ladies to help you honour your loved one and facilitate a compassionate experience for yourself.

The entire process, from funeral purchase to the final moments of the funeral, was handled with outstanding care and empathy. I was recommended Stephanie from Personal Farewells following the loss of my wife. From our first meeting and throughout the planning of my wife's service Stephanie and our Celebrant Jess provided guidance, support and kindness during a extremely difficult time. Their advice, attention to detail and recommendations allowed us to express who my wife was as a person and hold the service in an environment which my wife loved. Our family and friends, who attended or viewed the service via a live stream, have said what a beautiful service it was and that it really honoured my wife and celebrated her life.
