Cameron was a family friend who visited me in Yorkshire while playing cricket in Scotland. After I moved to WA he stayed with us and I had a few nights out with him in Sydney. Just a great bloke without a bad bone in his body. RIP mate.
Dear family, Cameron was a wonderful person. I knew Rowdy since I was about 8 years old playing cricket for Caringbah sports club. He was a very talented cricketer and he and I ended up opening the batting for Sutherland until we were about 16 in the Green Shield competition.. We won about 5 state representative competitions during that time. Cameron was a quiet person but was very funny. He made the whole team laugh with his quick wit. I was shocked and saddened to hear the news of his passing. I pass on my condolences to his family and friends.
